Do you think Rivera is fully supportive of Chud's play calling?

I'm not sure Rivera understands Chud's playcalling or enough of how to run a complete team or offense to support it or not support it to any great extent.

Not saying he doesn't, but I haven't seen much if anything to show me he does.

he better be... otherwise hes a pussy and shouldn't be a head coach in this league

i cant see how else chud would still be getting away with this

any other head coach would have sent him packing, best of luck with your college head coaching career

Of course, if not he's a wuss, for not making him change it up. I said it once, and I'll say it again, Chud is going to get Rivera fired.

and the new interim head coach for the carolina panthers... you guessed it folks.. ROB CHUDZINSKI

conspiracy? LOL

I would have thought for sure we seen the last of the read option. All this talk of self evaluating the team and what they are doing. I was hoping for 2011 pro style offense cut back runs and sweeps, TE passes. Cam is 90% of the offense is just stupid when we other playmakers that get paid to take the load. I am just disgusted. The read option just killed a number of drives today and when I get so excited over a 13 yard run from stew something is wrong.

    • "Just $3 mil," you say. I don't understand why anyone would be upset about incentives. There is a reason they're there: to motivate and bring out the best in a player. I agree with you that we could've saved ourselves roughly $2.5 mil, at least, but it's certainly more risky to gamble on "potential," than to just pay for someone who has already proven themselves to be legit in the NFL. That being said, I'd have probably gambled. But I'm not overly concerned with the contract. There are more interesting things to talk about.
    • Return of the “smokescreen”. Huddle classic, I get it. i don’t think they are doing any covert operations here. If it’s offense, it’s Tet or Warren. But it’s likely to be one of those Georgia guys as an OLB, it’s the safest bet and probably where I would go if we stay at 8. Maybe even Starks at S if we trade down, although I’d feel the same about that as taking Golden. The wide receiver class this year is weird. You don’t see a lot of route separation on film. Restrepo is pretty good at it, Lacy is good at it but may have to play in prison league. Tet makes all his plays on “fug it Tet is down there somewhere” broken plays. Golden uses timing and speed changes to get him some space, but I’d like some of his routes to be more intentional. I also don’t think you can go in thinking track record. And it’s not just WR, outside of Kalil it’s been a train wreck for pretty much everything in R2 for us.
    • Lotta love for Warren here.  I am not high on a TE at 8--heck, last year Bowers did not go until around 12 or 13.  Plug and Play is a good point, and we could run some double tight with (in my opinion) two very effective TEs.  If it were down to those two, I think I would go with Johnson and have the best CB tandem--especially if we do not get a plug and play edge.  There are many ways to go....
