Thomas Davis article about ACL tears...

Recommended Posts

I nicknamed him "Can't get right" because he just can't, his knee is pretty much like Otah's, whenever he practices or puts more than what the average person does on that knee it just starts to swell.

I'm no doctor (obviously) but couldn't they re-do the ACL surgery in the same way they re-break a bone that doesn't heal right? I mean it's been almost 2 years since his surgery. It seems like if it isn't right now, it never will be. If it were possible to re-do the surgery, he could be back on the field for the start of camp.

But maybe it's not possible.

Yeah, i think about Billy Bob Thornton in Bad Santa where he is like I have an ankle that is never going to heal all the way. I do not care what team I was a part of, if I had an ACL tear I would go to Andrews and do the first part of my rehab with his people.

No doubt ... TD is an animal! If he lasts all season (finger's crossed) he should run away with the comeback player of the year award ... though I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL crowned Peyton instead.

I would bet Peyton would be a lock for that but don't count out Terrell Suggs either. That monster is coming back to the field this week after tearing his achillies 6 months ago??!!!! If he does and performs even at 75% of what he was, that is unfreakinbelievable.
