Would Mike Holmgren be an upgrade from Ron Rivera?

This is straight from ESPN. If you have an issue take it up with them. You could look for yourself.

it's not that the facts aren't correct it's about when your pulling them from. anything before Rivera and Cam Newton at this point is in regards to the panthers is worthless.

Holmgren for that matter too, just taking into account 2 years when the owner ship was trying to sell the team is unfair and retarded.

if you think the Browns owner just decided to sell the team today you are wrong, he's probably been thinking about it since at least the time that Holmgren took over.

I'm not really on the fire Rivera bandwagon but I've always like Holmgren. Should it be something JR considers/pursues (Change of head coach) if we have a total continue to stink it up ALL season?

Edit

Forgot to mention that NFL.com is reporting his gone after this season.

You're missing the point. This thread is about Holmgren and I posted a stat about Holmgren from ESPN. If you find that retarded, as I previously mentioned, take it to ESPN.

Mike Holmgren, Andy Reid.....wassthadifference?

So Chico gets 2 years? How would that have worked with Cowher?

The reason everyone is whining about Rivera is not because his scheme just hasn't taken hold yet or there are things he still needs time to get right - it's because this team has shown either a total lack of progress or regression nearly everywhere. They lack fire, they are not prepared for things teams are doing to them, fundamentals are degrading all over the place (from bad tackling on D to receivers learning how to play with alligator arms).

These are things that it doesn't take a coach years to get right. It could be Rivera, Cowher, pretty much anyone in that seat and if basic things about the team are getting worse there would be the same level of complaining. My opinion is he isn't getting the job done. I hope he proves me wrong.
