Unless the coaching improves and we adjust our scheme on both sides of the ball, I don't see us winning more than 4 of the remaining games.

Also the "we played good teams close and could've won" is such a weak argument IMO.

I haven't really been all that impressed with every teams performance this year. There isn't really a team that screams to me as "unbeatable". If our team could only find it's offensive identity again we could actually get on a streak. But the league is so unpredictable right now it's going to be which team get's hot at the end of the year that holds the trophy.

we have as many teams with winning records from here on out as we did the first 5 weeks. 7 teams with 2 or less wins. 3 teams with the same number of wins as we have.

sorry...it's not harder from here on out. it's very manageable and quite likely to come out of the season with 8 wins.

someone has to and it might as well be us because most the teams on the schedule aren't doing a whole lot more than us and if you've watched them, they sure aren't playing a whole lot better than us. they've all been either just bad or just as mistake prone as we have been.

We won't be favored in any of those games and will finish 4-12 at best.

The combined record is now below .500. Our own ineptitude has a weight to it when it comes to looking at strength of schedule up until this point of the season. Then people would be talking about how weak our schedule has been.

Judging our competition based on opponents' records is a misguided perspective.

And I see 3 more that are going to exploit us, and now matter how hard we play, they will simply have our number.*

I expect anywhere from 6-10 to 9-7. And 9 could be enough for a wild card.*

Realistically, 4-12 to 8-8 and a continuation of the leagues longest non winning record streak ad nauseum.*

*This is all assuming that the coaching staff has used the bye week to consult with team physicians on how exactly to go about extracting ones head from their own rectum, of course. If this is not the case, this team will self destuct in 5... 4... 3...

Last three weeks played top teams in the nfc according to record, and we should of could of won two of them. This isnt a Rah Rah thread, just saying we have played the best and have come up just short. We can turn it around,...playoffs ha not happening, but we can make this an exciting respectful season at least.

only way they would be is on the back of other teams mistakes. not counting on that.

this year has been really ugly for a lot of teams and not just us.

doesn't excuse any thing we've done poorly, tho. best shot we have....the only shot that we have at all the rest of the season is by the other teams messing up more than us, which they are showing they are quite capable of doing.

i'm just looking at a bunch of bad teams on the schedule. maybe we're worse. maybe they are. don't know. not happy with our team being a bottom feeder this year and the fact that half the league is bottom feeding as well doesn't make me feel any better.

i do think we have a shot, but it's only because the playing field is somewhat leveled by most everyone having a lot of WTF moments that cost them games.

i know it's popular to think that we are the worst in the league, but really hardly anyone, esp. on our schedule, is impressing me.

this has become a season that i'd just rather get over with and i'll take whatever chance we have at winning any games just because i don't like seeing this team lose.
