Realistically speaking, how bad are we gonna have to be for JR to fire Rivera?

Rivera likes "Charger" people, and A.J. Smith could be on his way out...

therefore... A.J. Smith is could be on his way to Charlotte.

I wouldn't hate it...

Head coach doesn't pick the GM.

The whole lets be like the Chargers thing has led to a 7-14 record.

Some people here say that head coaches are usually given 3 or more seasons. Steve Spagnolia and Raheem Morris beg to differ.

They were both given 3 seasons

Oh and Raheem was even able to produce a 10-6 record the prior year he went 4-12 and he still got fired after just two seasons.

Raheem's first season he was 3-13

It's true that JR had no problem firing Seifert but his track record suggest he lets the team stick with players and coaches, seemingly, out of some type of misplaced loyalty.I hate to say it but i can't see the Panthers ever becoming a top 10 NFL franchise as long as JR is the owner and Hurney is calling the shots.

Too many excuses seem to be cropping up now for this to be Riveras last year - cams slump, smittys regression, Kalil out, Beason digned up, young guys starting - JR is going to give Rivera another year no matter what so you might as well get ready for some more mediocre Carolina Panther style football.
