If Joe Adams if not active this week, I will ......

Adams is listed by PFF as the rock bottom kick returner of anyone who has returned a single kick this season.

That is why they aren't using him.

You talking about the guy we drafted to return punts yet has been returning mainly kickoffs? He wasn't returner of the year bc he was a kickoff guy.....

Isn't a KO returner. Shouldn't be a shock in that dept.

He needs to return punts. Hasn't had a far shot. Not considering the talent.

Have you actually seen Adams make any return for the Panthers?

Yes!!! Sure yall are going to say its only the preseason, but he did extremely well returning punts during the Preseason. Adams had one bad game vs the Giants. I mean everyone on our team was bad. The only reason why Adams is benched is bc he's Rivera's scapegoat for the loss against NY. Who else is Rivera going to blame? Himself? Adams is a talented returner and he will be. The dumbest thing to do is keeping him off the field. He should be back this weekend returning punts duty for us or Rivera is making another bad call.

I just dont get how people can bash a rookie who has great potential to be a real threat in returning punts/kicks for us, but will never and always back up an average Brandon Lafail. Cmon guys. People acts like Lafail is something special and Adams is a bust. Its the total opposite. Watch and see. A lot of you guys will be throwing that Lafail jersey in the dumpster in exchange for an Adams jersey real soon.

Rookie Joe Adams > Munnerlyn / Pilares / AE

Thats your opinion, but its not based on any reality this year. He had a nice return in preseason, but preseason returns and $3.50 cents will by you a cup of coffee.

He is going to have to show something on the field. And he will get another chance eventually, especially if we lose a few.

Well, Joe Adams averages a 20+ yard return every 5 punt returns.....which poos all over the other 2. Armani's career long is 17 in 6x the chances.

C'mon. You are better than that. He had one return for 21 yards. That doesn't mean he will do that every 5 returns. Should we also say he will fumble every 5 returns?

He needs to be in there learning. He has the ability he just needs the play time.

This is what I have been saying dude. Green Bay didn't bench Randall Cobb last year after he had some fumbling issues. I hate inconsistency. Some guys get benched after messing up. Hell not just benched but inactive. They get no jersey, while bums like Nakamura still get rotated into the game.

Cobb had 3 fumbles spread out over the entire season. He never had fumbles in consecutive cames much less multiple in the same game. Add to that the fact he was actually pretty damned good at actually returning and you will see they are not comparable situations at all.

Adams is a punt return specialist from school and yet he still fumbled 2 of the 5 attempts he has made. That is bad.

Fumbles are fumbles are fumbles. On Adam's five attempts I remember one of them being a good return. If he does not fumble the rest of the year, then he will only have two fumbles compared to Cobb's three. Please stop looking at logic in a bubble to make your point because I can do that as well. It doesn't matter how bad it was, he will not get better by sitting on the sidelines. Players mess up like that and then get pulled and all they think about when they are in there is don't mess up. You know who is playing well in San Fran this year? Kyle Williams, the same guy that muffed two punts to help New York get to the Super Bowl. By your logic and alot of arm chairs, he should have never got to play again.

Couldn't have said it better myself
