Have you compared Luck's first year at Indy to Manning's first year at Indy?

Yeah I have. I don't throw something against the wall in hopes that is sticks.

Two different era's. The passing rules that Manning faced his rookie year are far different from what Luck and any other recent rookie are facing. Defenive backs would get away with so much more back then.

Luck's on a better team. Defensively? The two teams can't be close to being compared. Marshall Faulk is the only player that would be a huge upgrade to anything the Colts currently have. Even that is different now, with teams sharing the carries/specialization etc. Harrison was young and green, but he had talent but he wasn't equal to the modern version of Reggie Wayne.

Luck and any other QB have the benefit of having a lot of concepts installed that Manning helped develop over time.

College offenses are more advanced now than they were back in the 90's. The same can be said for high schools.

Based on #'s & wins, I guess each of the 5 quarterbacks selected in the first round will be better than Manning, or Dalton & Newton from last year. Sorry but I don't buy that logic. The game is different. Peyton Manning helped make it different and others are the benefactors of that.

So I yeah I've compared the two as much a steak burger and a soy burger can be compared.

I did like Wayne's and Luck's interview Thursday night.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you that QB's aren't supposed to make tackles?"

This week, Colts mascot Blue sent out a challenge to all Colts cheerleaders via Twitter that if he could raise $10,000 for leukemia research by the Colts vs. Bills game on Nov. 25, one cheerleader would have to shave her head.

Cheerleader Megan M. accepted the challenge Sunday.

Blue is now asking fans to make a donation to the CHUCKSTRONG fund on the Colts website.

Money raised through the challenge will benefit leukemia research at the IU Health Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis.

How unique is Andrew Luck?

"He's been impressive. Certainly he's an outstanding athlete. He can run, he's got real good speed to get out of trouble and buy time in the pocket. He's made a lot of yards on converted third downs. … I think he sees the field well - has good vision, good poise. … I've certainly been impressed watching him."

Does he remind you of anyone at this stage of his career?

"I don't think there's a lot of difference between him, physically, and a guy like Cam Newton, just as far as being able to run, and be strong and fast and have a good arm. He seems to read coverages well. He's got a great receiver, obviously, in Reggie Wayne. … The Colts have done a great job. They've turned that program around."

Defense gave up 40+ Points... That Defense is garbage... Can't win when Luck throws a few INT's and make him play from behind all day... You know how many times the defense scored.. ZERO! One MAN SHOW!! Luck has to do it all 300+ Yards... the whole team... A real team would be able to win when Luck throws a few INT's!!!
