I just saw Dallas run it down the Baltimore Ravens' throats on their opening drive. This is the Baltimore Ravens' Defense. 1-5 here we come.

Please try and convince me that you still have hope, and that we will win next weekend... I implore u to do so. It's not gonna happen though.

I've tried the expecting us to win thing every week and it hasn't worked. I'm down to try this and see how it pans out

Yeah people still associate the Ravens D as some unstoppable lockdown defense but they simply aren't that anymore. Still a very well coached team though with some hall of famers and excellent DL. Haloti is maybe the best DT in the NFL.

Sadly, I expect the Panthers to lose to Dallas also.

Remember when we were all bashing Prisco for predicting a 3-13 record from the panthers this season?

Nah dude don't think the Panthers defense is better than the Ravens.

One thing about the Cowboys is Romo can lose games for you. All it takes is for him to throw a bad pass or two and you can easily get him rattled.

If the Cowboys win this game - it could actually work in our favor because they are going to have to put a lot into this game to win.

Cowboys win - ESPN back on the Cowboys media machine and everything is lovely in Big D. Romo looks like a "super bowl QB" again and everyone will go ahead and scratch an easy win against the Panthers.

Yeah, it is. I'm not trying to pull a Grits and talk out of my ass in an attempt to troll, but I honestly think they are a 4-5 win team the rest of the way.

It sucks to be out of it this early and I think a lot of the posters here that are trying to stay positive and aimlessly predict a 35-17 Panther win every week need to grow up. It's a defensive mechanism but the realistic, logical fans here know better.

      No team in the league would sit back and say Mays outplayed Hunt or Lewis so its a typical case of stats (or ratings) not telling the story. The team also was in a much better position at the end of the year, where the begging was very rough all around. Everyone was learning the new scheme, calls, learning how new teammates played in real games and all of that changed the second half of the year. We started getting actual production from the run game and receivers and everyone’s play changed from the beginning of the year.   As a side note Mays goes down or another linemen who is coming in? We have zero depth and Brady Christiansen will be hitting free agency to be a starter elsewhere.  With as many holes as we have it makes sense as long as it’s team friendly deal. I’m not opposed to drafting someone as well, but we know what we are getting from Corbett when healthy and he’s above average playing multiple positions. Maybe they have it as an open competition between him and Mays, loser is the prime backup for G and C
