Uh, no... I wish the rest of the team would follow his lead and set a physical tone like he does. IMO, you still don't see enough competitive nastiness in this team.

Believe me, getting slammed on your back and pinned by Smitty in the 1st quarter is a humbling experience... he's setting the "rules and regulations" early.

Only one that should of been humbled was Smith....Seattle got Smith to take himself out of plays and hurt Carolina.

I'm definitely tired of Smith's mental mishaps. False starts and dropping easy passes. That kills me. His fiery persona doesn't bother me, until he gets a flag..

We won games in 2008 and 2009 without him.....that was with bad D and below average QB play.

It isn't 2005 anymore. He isn't the offense. Sure it will hurt but Newton is now the most irreplaceable Panther.....no longer is it Smitty.

i agree with this post.last week he was far more caught up in wrestling and jawing with the DB but when a ball went his way several times he just flat out dropped it.same with cam if he would worry more about completing a pass to a wide open te last week instead of doing his celebrations we would be better off.
