The Panthers might not be cleaning house.....

I would like to hear how this fan really has sent any message other than the text that he wrote in his OP.

I said "fans." Not just one. If we as a fanbase did something collectively where JR felt it, namely his pockets, then he'd be moved to do more.

ORRRRR.... He'd just pack up shop and move to L.A.

Probably the latter.

If JR is the rich, evil tycoon that y'all are painting him to be, then like I said, this fan's actions (even if everyone did them) aren't going to have any impact on his bottom line.

What the OP did is really the only way fans can get Richardson's attention...hit him in the wallet. Why not continue to turn a huge profit every year with an extremely conservative (to the point of fault) approach when the money is going to come in regardless if the team wins or loses.

He sold his tickets so somebody else who presumably is going in his place. He isn't hurting anybody but me if he sold to opposing fans.

It's relevant only because what I've posted above. We have had MUCH worse times as a fanbase than we do now. If you were in attendance during the days of Chris Weinke, Isaac Byrd, and Richard Huntley, then you would remember that.

We were only 6 years old then and still a young franchise. We are still young, I know, but now its just the same ole stuff every year and every week. We will be and we are that franchise that will have random good years. Im still a fan and always will be.

You may have had worse times as a fan, but for me, this year, Ive hit rock bottom.

So selling his tickets to opposing fans who will go spend money in our stadium is the best solution and posting about it on a message board is better then actually sending an e-mail or letters to the front office about it?

Sold them to a panthers fan. Same guy bought it all.

I wouldnt sell them to an opposing fan. Trust me, I got about 15 calls for the Dallas tickets and offers above face value for the tickets. I wouldnt do it.

My point is Im no longer spending money supporting a bad product. Its like week in and week out buying an umbrella with holes in it. You know its not going to get the job done but you buy it anyways, week in and week out, only to get rained on. Who does that?

You see, NOW this is the type of fan that should be ridiculed, not me. Wanna what I did yesterday? Dropped $34.99 one one of those new era Panther caps. Am I fed up? Yes. Do I think Rivera and our whole coaching staff are clowns? Yes. Do I think our GM and owner have no vision and no direction? Yes. Despite all of this, I still love this team. Thats whats so great about the NFL win or lose fans get somethng. We win, we go to the playoffs and all is well. We lose, it blows yes BUT we get a good draft pick and a lot to look forward to come April.

just curious...did they get sold to panther fans or not?

I'm going to bet you don't own PSLs.

Just curious....do fans from other NFL teams buy opposing teams PSL seats? I mean, even if it was an NFC South team, that's only one game per season that you would have a seat for. Does that question really make sense to you?

Corporations buy PSLs and thank God they do...otherwise Richardson would be flippin burgers to make up the difference...

I still can't consider this year worse than 2010, but to each his own. Thank you at least for not selling to opposing team's fans so that those of who will continue to support our team (despite what we all might think about how it's run) doesn't have to suffer.
