I agree with everything but Hurney. I don't think posters here realize that we could do a LOT worse for a GM. They just assume the grass is always greener on the other side, but let me tell you, there's always a Matt Millen we can wind up with.

I just instantly remembered so many dismissing Rivera's problems last year in clock management & team direction and bashed those questioning him...I read das old thread wrong. Its amazing he hasn't improved clock management and we still don't have an idea of what type of team we're trying to be. Its THE glaring problem imo

And Marguide - i could have sworn that Rivera was actually fiddling with someones chinstrap during a timeout or something, trying to thread the strap under the facemask iirc.

That said, about Cam in the Red Zone. We all know his amazing runs last season in the Red Zone. But I wonder if Chud is doing what he's doing for a reason. Don't get me wrong, I love Cam and know he can ball. But does anyone else worry he can't make those short throws yet? Wasn't that a knock on him coming out of college? Hell, he ran it all the time at Auburn too in goal or 3rd and short situations. I know his body is built for it, but there may be a crappy reason that's what we usually see from him. He missed horribly this past week. And if it's not that sort of pass, it's to the sideline to LaFell or Smitty with a CB all over them.

Can Cam make these passes REGULARLY? Please, convince me, someone. I'm worried.

I agree with pretty much everything.....ESPECIALLY cam not being utilized correctly, we need to run an actual professional offense, let him be a QB....I don't mind the dives on the goal line because there very effective

It is very easy to point fingers, it is a lot harder to fix the problems.

We are 1-4, mainly, because we are undertalented by poor drafting for years (included drafitng the wrong position, RB, in the first). But still, I WOULD NEVER GIVE UP ON MY TEAM AFTER 5 GAMES!!!!!!, please show some faith, or at least a fools hope!

going into this season we all thought our offense was going to roll like last year , but lets face it , no one on the offense has been impressive, including veteran guys we thought we could rely on ( smitty, dwill, gross etc)

does cam need to get better.... YES. but hes still a very young QB, and needs some help out there.
