Over Coached?

reading an article about the bobcats, it got me thinking if the same thing may be happening with carolina. The article referred to coaching instincts out of MKG. I cant help but to wonder if this coaching staff has filled Cams head with so much crap, its slowed down his reaction time. Cam was successful last season because they let Cam be Cam. This year it seems hes very unsure what he wants to do and is thinking too much instead of just reacting to whats in front of him.

He's unsure because most of his routes take forever to develop and only has one TE as a safety valve.

He doesn't want to throw any interceptions, imo.

Our problems are as follows:

- The offensive line has severely regressed, with Hangartner going from serviceable to mediocre, Amini being a rookie, and Kalil and Gross turning in subpar efforts. Byron Bell has been our most consistent lineman. . .

- This regression has killed the running game, hence Chud constantly going back to the option fishing hole to cover up for the lack of push up front.

- The dead running game has forced Cam to generate almost all the offense, and do so in coverages that aren't worried about stopping the run, and since he is dead set on avoiding interceptions he's not reading or reacting as fast as he needs to, nor following his progressions, and the constant pass rush has killed his footwork.

This season hinges on Kalil, he of the Super Bowl prognostication, getting his crew back in 2011 form, and pronto. They've wrecked the offense, with plenty of help from Chud being unable to adjust on the fly and Cam struggling to do everything himself.

And he hasn't, we still lost... so those stats or whatever about Cam throwing an INT and we lose is false. There's no team in the top 5 that doesn't spread you out or run the bullshit we run

Something is certainly going on in Cam's head. Being at the game I caught a lot of things I never saw on TV. We had at least one wide open receiver on nearly every play. Didn't seem to me that Cam was going through his reads very quickly. I agree that this college style offense may be causing him to regress.

And the O-line sucked.
