FWIW letting a coach's contract expire without renewing it is effectively the same thing as firing them. If they were doing an adequate job where they were they would have been renewed. Retirement is a different animal but a coach who wanted to work and was not renewed might as well be fired.

Yep, I'm not a Fox fan but he took a The Golden Calf of Bristol lead Broncos to the playoffs. I gotta give him credit. Not all coaches let go just fade into obscurity. Richardson went into budget mode on hiring our coaches and now look where we are.
