True Blood

I don't know, it's better than the last one. Russell is bar far the most entertaining character on this show. I wish they'd kill some stories/characters and by this I mean: Terry's story, Laffeyette's story, Hoyt's, etc. Anything that isn't directly moving the main vampire plot should be ended or combined into it.

This couldn't be any more true. Its been my biggest problem with the show since season 2. Ive taken to using these secondary story lines like commercials - a chance to run to the fridge, go to the can, or let the dog out.

I also think they've went too far with the supernatural stuff, as in, too many things. It started out with vampires, fine. I can see how they can stay hidden or were hidden for a while. Then you add a shifter, werewolfs, panthers, that lady from season 2, the crazy chick from the past on last season, these mexican guys, Lafeyette being who he is all of a sudden, ferries, and now a smoke monster? To top it off they have characters that still get surprised when something "weird" happens.... really??? They should have kept it to vampires, with some werewolfs missed in (like in Russel's storyline) and Sam being a shifter is OK but we didn't need any more shifters.
