Wow, what a weakass finale. The whole show was slow, and of course all the loose ends were tied up neatly. Eggs was a bitch, he cried way too much. It was all just too easy, too clean the way they ended it all. So what do we have for next season? They need to clean up BonTemps, and Bill got gaffled. Anybody want to speculate why the Queen is having Eric sell 'V'? I havent been able to come up with anything...

Also, if Mariann was immortal, how did Sam Merlot kill her? Yes, she thought he was the god and she was going to sacrifice herself. But she knew what was happening after he turned into a bull. Someone should have ripped her heart out on episode one, just like the writters ripped the heart out of this entire season...

They may need to take it back to the Basics...I thought they were going to introduce the werewolf.

I don't think she was truly immortal, she just believed in that god so much she made it real. She could be killed. And I just thank God that story arc is over.

I have been pondering this all day..Would the finale sucked as bad as it did if the Panthers hadnt had their asses handed to them? I know my dinner wasnt as tasty as it shouldve been, my beers werent as refreshing as usual, and this show sucked like it hasnt before. So if the game had gone differently, none of us would be feelin extra badoff, would we have enjoyed the show more?

The season ended with a big fat yawn from me. The soldier Jason dragged on too long for such a weak finish. The zombie episode didn't bother me, but that was enough of that. Still, I'm a fan of the show and I look forward to the new twists in season 3. Normally I hate the feeling when a show I follow ends, but I really didn't care last night. SOA and Dex will easily fill the void.

Seeing that were only a week out from the next season, I figure I'll kick off the discussion. There are several minisodes on HBO's website that foreshadow the 3rd season. Based on what I've seen, it looks like the 3rd season is gonna be even crazier than the previous two.

Bunny have you heard anything about Sparticus ? He got dignosed with Cancer so I don't know whats going to happen with the new season. It is the "easy" the treat cancer so I guess thats the best kind to have.

If the series follows the books at all I will be irritated with this season.

just read today that he's cancer free and all healthy. ready to start filming soon.
