We need to start DA! Yes you read that right and here is why. DA is not a running QB, so with DA we would be forced to ditch that craptastic option play and get back to a more conventional offense which = more wins.

Rivera is done after this season. Who are some hot coaching candidates? Jay Gruden? Rob Ryan?

I have yet to see him "coach" a player after something happens. He just stands there as they walk by - I have no faith in a HC that does not get involved at all during a game. Its like he expects all the other coordiantors to handle everything so he can just "stare".

he talked a good talk when hired, he siad all the right things last year. Now its all just so bland. Evaluate, correct, learn? When will he ever actually do any of these things?

We cant bench the almighty Cam the messiah. Cam should be treated like Haruki or any other play that underperforms. Infact I would argue that those that say we shouldnt start another QB arent real fans. Are you a Cam fan or a Panthers fan? If DA would lead us to wins and make us better, then absloutely I say start DA. Ok. And thats fine, my point is how its wrong to just ban me or someone else for that matter for saying this stuff. Its not as if im a troll thats secretly fan of another team coming here trying to bash the Panthers. I do think Jared Green has pro bowl potential, and I do think Rivera sucks so bad Herm Edwards would be an upgrade, atleast he is a known name. And yes, if Cam keeps looking craptastic, I say we should see what DA can do, DA for most part looked promising in pre season.

But the bigger point here is people shouldnt be banned for saying these things. Speaking of which I love the irony seeing the cmments from well respected users on an inferior site say the EXACT same thing I said months ago about Hurney sucking and needing to be fired. It's not Cam that's the problem. Sophomore slump or not, this team has larger issues than QB play. In fact, Sunday aside, that's one of the bright spots looking ahead.

The larger issue is that Rivera, Chud, and McDermott don't seem to be the answer. Chud would be a solid O.C. with a head coach that actually managed his gameplan a bit and didn't give him so much rope to hang himself with. McDermott is a lost cause.

Rivera more and more reminds me of Tony Sparano in Miami. Tough talking coach, but still unable to instill discipline and motivate his players.

Hurney sure as poo isn't the problem. Cam isn't either.

When I referred to a sophomore slump, I was referring to the coaches as well.

the mentality that your right to free speech means being able to shout whatever insane stupid poo you want in a public forum while being completely insulated from any and all criticism is, well...

Lets just all take a deep breath......woooosah as fans we have the right to be upset and to be pessimistic because we aren't the only ones that had high expectations coming into this season. Every football anaylyst in America thought we would contend for a playoff spot this year hell out center took out an ad saying that we would win the Super Bowl. Mathematically the season isn't over we have time to turn it around. Will we? Well that's to be seen and if you been a panthers fan for long history says they won't turn it around. However, they deserve for us to rally behind them we are their fans and they need us now more than ever. We have to come out and support our team(coaches included). Now is not the time to declare its over or to call for the firing of staff, that's what the offseason is for. While we still have the chance we need to support or Carolina Panthers.

Seriously, I wonder if some of you "fans" watch the games or just look at the stats after the games. Cam had his first REALLY bad game this past week. He had a rough day against the Bucs, but not nearly as bad as the Seattle game. Cam is not the issue. Starting DA would change literally nothing at all.

Now, on topic, I am slowly becoming resigned to accepting the season is over and accepting wins as a pleasant surprise, but nothing that I expect anymore out of this team this season. I hope we clear out the coaches and bring in some new ones. Might set us back another year learning new systems, but if they can produce and show promise next season, I'll be happy.
