Trade Deangelo, Stewart, and Tolbert

we couldn't possibly trade them. I wish we would and just roll with Poole and Smith if we still have him. Nobody will want them I don't think. I doubt we'd get much for them. The easiest one to trade would be Stewart, but he is our best back. Deangelo would be impossible to trade.

Not so sure about that....see the Cardinals runningback situation.....

if cams stupid ass didnt try to keep the ball every time.. and the rb's were having to RIP the ball from him.. maybe they could do something. option isnt working cuz of cam. it worked great at first when everyone was on the same page and the option was "pre called" now they let cam choose, and he cant. i beleive thats what stopped the option from working.

This is not even remotely correct.

We did not run the same system last year we are running this year. This year we have transitioned to a college-style option offense. Last year we ran the option as a tool but not as our base scheme. This year we run it too much and teams have had a full year to adjust to HOW we run it when we do.

The option is not working because the option, as a base offensive scheme, is not going to work in the NFL. Chud is not the first coach to think it would and the option scheme we're running isn't something new. It pops up from time to time...it works for a bit...then it stops. Seattle gave us a pretty good example of what happens when you try to run it in the NFL against a disciplined, fast defense. They're going to slow it to a crawl and they're going to pop your QB no matter what. Those hits add up and all you've accomplished is making your QB gun shy.

The option isn't working because it's not going to work in the NFL. No matter who runs it with what coach. It just isn't going to be a reliable base offense.

The option isn't going to work in the NFL.

In the NFL the option isn't going to work. mmmmm

The real poo of this? Cam has shown nothing to indicate that he's not capable of running a pro style offense..or at the very least he's shown nothing to indicate he's not capable of adjusting to running that style offense. What we're doing it slowing the development of a poo load of ability.

^This.Running the same system as last year & we're at least 3-2

An aging expensive RB isn't the answer for any team....

You can find RB play for cheap and on practice squads.

Fire Hurney.

Recommend him to the Jets. (Slip them hookers & blow to make sure they hire him.)

Put D-Will on the market.

Get Cromartie & their 1sts for 2013 & 14!

Deangelo may be good as gone at the end of the year (when the gauranteed part of his contract is up). Perhaps a team will be willing to sign him as a Band-Aid that might half stick on their wounds for a while.

We get a little value, and Williams can go to the Cards or Packers and perhaps smell a Super Bowl (not so much with the Cards).

i think we should draft marcus lattimore with our first pick next year so we have 4 good rb's and only run them 10 times

This is obviously Hurney's plan for next season. Only one thing better than three runningbacks, I always say...
