A little fun for NC folks...

Recommended Posts

I used to love the Stingrays games. They get much better support than the Checkers.

The Stingrays are badass this year we need to beat Alaska to win the Kelley Cup again... :D There was nothing more fun to do then go to a game w/10,000 fans having fun(it's been awhile since we had 10k at a game:( )

personally i dont like the idea. ive been hearing alot about a rivalry starting between fans of Charlotte and Raleigh. IMO i think this is very silly. even though the teams are in diff cities the one thing they have in common is that they are the CAROLINA hurricanes and the CAROLINA panthers. which means they represent both north and south Carolina. so it shouldn't matter where they are located in ur home state but u should support them both (if your the type to root for the home team). what i would like to see is a MLB team located some where in SC to represent both NC and SC also

Thanks for the slap back to reality. Needed it.

You still making cornhole boards?

Charlotte franchises would dominate Raleigh franchises.

:lol:WTH?

I can only hope that we'd get to see it. But we'd probably see an NFL franchise in London before another franchise comes within 500 miles of Raleigh or Columbia. We'll be Panthers fans until we die.

Sorry, got my dawgs confused. bubbadawg makes the cornhole boards.

:D Hell, I had to Google it to know what it was. I am still not 100% sure, but it looks like a game that is similar to horseshoes.

Funny, I am a native North Carolinian, but have never heard of cornhole. Looks amusing. I think I'll suggest it to my brother in law for his grandchild's graduation shindig. You learn something new every day.

Today was the day I learned about cornhole boards.

I don't get the purpose of this thread...?

There's no chance of any of this happening expect MAYBE North Carolina getting ONE baseball team sometime in the future.

MLB would (and should) go to Charlotte over Raleigh/Durham (I really think Portland and Charlotte are the next 2 in line get MLB teams, 20 years?)

NBA would never work in the Triangle. ACC Basketball'd

NHL in Charlotte seems nice, but in all honesty could never survive if the 'Canes are in Raleigh (especially w/ the Bobcats playing in the same season)

No way the NFL would ever consider putting a team in Raleigh. Ever.
