Time to move on from Steve Smith

Our players don't look well coached or disciplined. We have Smith getting into fights and poo like this is his rookie season all over again. Ron Rivera has no spine. That's why he has his arms crossed the whole game, to help balance him up right.

Agreed. If we had belicheck or harbaugh as a coach, he wouldn't be doing all of his nonsense

I didn't see any drops. I just saw under and over thrown passes.

Yeah, cause those balls Cam threw Smitty should never tried to catch them. I saw Tom Brady throw some doozies but his receivers hauled them in. I guess Seeing that he's a Captain and all, every ball coming from the rookie QB needs to be perfectly throw because he shouldn't have to extend himself like that.

There lies the problem with your team. They play with no real urgency and passion. If your Captain can act like everything is on the QB then what do you expect from the rest of the team.

Of course he shares a small role bc unfortunately hes playing on a poor offense with full of talents.

I don't hear anyone blaming the supposed to be great Lafail.

LaFell doesn't have Smith's resume or talent.....but LaFell at least had some pretty big catches today. Going to LaFell and Olsen worked out pretty well today...they could of used some of Smitty's targets

Smith can't seperate from the defensive back anymore. Thats our biggest problem with the offense. We don't have any WR's with speed (or we don't play them) and Cam is having to force too many passes because no one is open. That allows defense to put 8 in the box so we are scared to run. So basically we are a useless offense.

As much as our D blows if there is a worthy WR there at the #6 draft slot then we should take them. Having a true WR that can worry the defense would open up a lot of things on offense

What about the very first ball thrown to him? Cam put it on his hands, he bobbled it and he dropped it as he ran out of bounds. There were others too. Cam wasn't accurate today, but there were some balls Smith needed to catch.
