Why Does Rivera need a headset and Mic?

I dont think the man can talk. Just stands there with his arms crossed. Every time I seen him on tv, he was saying nothing..No emotion whatsoever.

I also knew we would go for it on 4th to make up for the other call, and figured we wouldnt get it.

I've always supported Rivera but that may be coming to an end. You watch guys like Carroll, Harbough, Tomlin, Smith and others that are very energetic and passionate on the sidelines. It may be annoying to watch as an opponent but really it's jealousy because we need that. That rubs off on players. Seeing Rivera standing there staring into space does nothing for the players. Doesn't motivate them at all. It rubs off on them in a negative way. I'm tired of it. He has to lead and start acting like he cares or he has to go.

He isn't stoic. He's stupid.

We're seeing why he was passed over so many times in interviews. I hate to say it, I wanted to believe in him for multiple reasons aside from him just being "our coach."

He isn't a good communicator and I don't think he deals well with decision making or strategy. He has expressed multiple times that things have gone on in games and that basically someone else didn't make the adjustments, which implies he doesn't make calls on gameday.

He was hired because he is a puppet. Good credentials, good background, perfect hood ornament.

Guess what guys... The party is over. Rivera is dumb. He is outmatched every week.

John Fox is and was a much better coach than RR - I dont think he ever lost this team even when JR hobbled him - I think Rons already lost his franchise qb and the rest of the team seems to be following suit.

I've supported Chico when a lot of people have turned their backs against him, but like many others on here my time sticking up for him is dwindling. He clearly is clueless when it comes to time management and seems to relegate all of the duties and responsibilities to coordinators. If that's the case, then why pay him to be HC? I don't know what goes on in that locker room or during practice but during the game it seems as if he's apathetic and that rubs off on the team. The shots of him while staring in space when a player has just made a mistake piss me off. If he were Harbaugh or someone like Brian Kelly or hell, even Fox, he'd be getting in players' faces and motivating them to do better. Instead, he simply stands there as if to say, "oh well, we'll correct that tomorrow in practice." The team plays with no chip on its shoulder - it looks as if it's simply going through the motions.

If this team goes on a slide similar to the manner in which the Bucs did with Raheem Morris, I'd be all for showing him the door. This team needs a fiery leader and not an apathetic babysitter like Ron seems to be.
