I agree. If this coaching staff is going to revert Cam to a college QB playing in the NFL, I rather start Anderson and see a full NFL offense out there, and let Cam watch from the sidelines. It's a travesty what this coaching staff has done to Cam. :angry:

That end zone throw was ALL on him. But blaming this loss on him is short sighted and quite frankly rather stupid. So many other parts of the team(like being THE WORST tackling team in the NFL) are just as culpable.

How dare Cam not fix all of our problems. Every QB completes all of his passes. No other QB needs a competent OC. Cam can run, so no need for a bizzilion dollar back field and he is so fast he doesn't need any blocking upfront. He says he's superman right...superman can pass the ball and run down field and make the catch, too. After all of that, he can fix the economy and solve the crisis in the middle east, then do my grocery shopping for me. Fanbase full of morons from shitty small towns.

There are short routes. Olson usually is running a short route. He has his checkdowns. He needs to use them. Why would a defense worry about short passing when Cam doesn't throw the short pass and when he does, he is so innaccurate it's usually an incompletion anyways.

and Olsen is his 3rd or 4th read after looking down field. he cannot get it out to him because the pocket is calapsing. look im not making excuses he played like poo, but just look at when smitty caught that quick out. the OC should have taken notes and came back to that type of pass but it didnt happen. the quick passing game was there today, but not taken advantage of.

JT, I try to be as objective as anyone when it comes to our team and I try not to play favorites so it doesn't skew my view of the big picture.

I'm telling you... This isn't Cam. Yes, he could've played better, but he is being put in a position to fail on every drive. That read option is killing him and bogging down our offense. The calls Chud is making at the times he is making them is completely handicapping our offense and Cam's development.

isn't it funny that with some teams, no matter how off their QB is, the team manages to win. Not this one.

They showed this DURING the game, he has 1 game winning/tying drive in the 4th quarter.

And he is not getting through his reads fast enough. Defense has no fear of our short passing game. The long passing plays are not going to open up when Cam won't take what the defense is giving him. Cover the long ball on the outsides. Who gives a crap about the short game. Cam is innaccurate throwing them when he even does decide to use it.

I also agree that the OC needs to get some designed quick passes mixed in.

See the big picture people. Marty Hurney's incompetence surrounded Cam today. Garry Williams was TERRIBLE at RG. We have no depth at G. Stewart and Williams showed us all what 10% of the salary cap is worth when spent on running backs. Steve Smith, Stewart, Williams--the leaders of the offense--all had STOOPID mistakes that cost the team the win.

Marty's worst signing could be RIvera. I saw players running onto the field late, confusion at the snap, blown coverages, stupid play calling, etc. Rivera just sits there. Once, during a critical part of the game, he was working on a player's helmet. Should he not be concerned with the strategy?

Cam is not a mentally strong person. Leadership and intelligence is strengthened in QBs like Brees and Manning becuase they rely on them. Cam has always relied on his athleticism. Blame him if you want--I think we will find that his shoulder was banged up--that is what happens when your $10 million dollar backfield can't run for 50 yards combined.

Do you really pay attention to your team as a whole? It's not Cam. Mark my word. Your QB is the least of your issues. I've been saying it on this site since last season but yet you continue to sit there and over analyze every mistake; every bad throw; every ish about this kid. But you refuse to pay any real attention to the rest of your team or the mentality of your team.
