What would you do and how would you feel if the Panthers were Modell'd?

What if the Panthers moved to another state and changed their name and colors? Would you still follow them? If not, who would you follow?

If a team came back to Carolina 5 years later and were named the Panthers again, would you leave the team you were currently supporting and got to know and start all over and support the Panthers again even if your current team might be a very solid organization?

I would support the Ravens if the Panthers moved and would support the Panthers as my favorite team again when they returned no matter how close I have gotten to the Ravens and no matter how good they may be. There would just be a closer gap between my favorite team and second favorite team if that were to happen. JR, or whoever the owner would be, could eat poo and I would not show any remorse if the owner died before me.

Maybe it's the mood I'm in after my SF Giants lost but STFU!

Edit: 30 seconds of thinking about it.

Still STFU!

why are we even asking this? i mean i don't understand this and the "what would it take for you to quit being a panther fan" threads.

ugh this place becomes more depressing by the day. you'd think we were in line for another 2010 season or something.

Maybe it's because of the 1995 Browns special NFL Network just recently aired. Has nothing to do with this season. This is a message board where people discuss topics with others. I don't understand people that don't like threads, but yet post in them anyway. Doesn't make you look very smart.

Moved to another state? Yes, I'm not fond of NC or the Carolinas why would I care?

Changed colors and name? Nope. At that point, it's a completeley different team IMO.

Again don't really care about Carolina, jsut the team. If the team exists I'll be a fan. Fans live everywhere not just where the team is. Same name and colors. I've been a fan ofthe panthers for a while and rarley have they been a 'solid organization', so no problems there. I'ts my only team and alwasy has been, if it sudely dissapears I probably won't be a fan of any team. At least for a while, a lot of experiences and good memories made me a fan of the panthers so it would take a a lot form anotehr team to make me care enough to be a fan. Normally I just watch for the love of the game....except my beloved Panthers....

JR I could most cetainley do without but that day will come and I honestly believe we will start winning when it does.

2010...no, that is near impossible becasue that year we set many NFL records for being so bad.

2011... sure, very close to it in fact, coming close to beating teams who are actually worth a poo and beating hte lackluster teams.

I think people are jsut tired of being told the season isn't over/just began every year. For the last few years that is all this messege board has been saying...at some point people are going to ignore the fact that the season isn't over yet because there is nothing to say otherwise, most importantley history.

Winnign cures all, incuding the fans, if you want someone to blame for the boards being like this blame the panthers for losing like everyone else.

I find this question slightly releveant not only because this is a messege board but because we all know that feeling from the Hornets...

People complain of the rollercoaster boards but I love it...that is what a team is, fans are down when they're losing and high when they're winning, It's what makes winning feel so good, its the difference and must exist for winning to mean anything.

Richardson isn't going anywhere, he's got a good thing going in Charlotte. The Panthers are one of the most profitable orginizations even with the garbage teams they put on the field. Why would he move to a place where he might actually have to win games in order to make money?

If the team left and changed colors and all that, im out. I'd follow the Texans or Raiders, most likely the Texans since ill be in Texas. If another team comes back, I won't be a fan.

I'd still follow closely the careers of Cam, Smith, and Gamble since they're my favorite players. I still follow Peppers career. He's my all time favorite.

No doubt. It wouldn't be JR it would be the next ownership group hypothetically.

With a sold out stadium even in a 2-14 season there is no reason for anyone to leave.

And the Panthers have great branding and a lock on fans in parts of 3 states.
