What would it take for you to stop being a Panthers fan?

I would never stop being a fan unless this team became like the Bills/Raiders, but with less loyal fans and then they actually moved us and changed our name.

I could only see that happening in like 25 years though when nobody on our current roster will even be playing.

There will be a team in Los Angeles very soon and if in 25 years the Panthers are some other team with nothing to remind me of my 'Carolina Panthers', I will be rooting for the Los Angeles team and finally be able to go to a Dodgers game, Lakers game, and NFL game all in the same city.

Solution: Move team to LA B)

I've always wondered what type of a mind-f**k I would be in if the Panthers move to LA. Hate that they left Charlotte, but heyyyyy...they're in my backyard. I'd rather root for them long distance. I would hate to see them move

Fortunately for Jerry, Panther fans are so ridiculously loyal to a weak product that there's hardly a reason for him to put an emphasis on winning games. There may come a time when he needs to worry about being successful on the field again, but for now, everything's coming up Milhouse for Jerry.

If they ever have a meltdown like the 93 Cowboys, with multiple players involved in drug rings, porn scandals, and an owner that fires his two-time Superbowl-winning coach.

The only part of that I hope happens is the two-time Superbowl Champ thing. Other than that, I'm a Panther fan until I die or they become an embarrassment for off the field stupidity that I can't morally support. I love our three strikes mentality of the front office, and not going after players that have a bad persona off the field. A lot of folks might think that's stupid, but I don't really care... this is a big reason I've supported them since the beginning. No matter the record, I'm proud of our team, and will support them.

I'm a Carolina Panther Phann! I used to pull for the 49'ers because I liked Jerry Rice. When the Panthers came out, I switched immediately. The Panthers are the only team, professional or otherwise, that I've ever brought paraphernalia for. This is the only NFL team that I've truely bought into. I'm here to stay...

If they moved outside of the Carolinas. Before the Panthers I didn't really have a "team" that I gave my full support to. I was just a football fan. If the Panthers relocate, I'll resort to just being a football fan - watching the best games each week and not really giving a hot poo about the outcome.....so long as the Cowboys lose.

Been a Lions fan for 50 years or so. Moved to Carolinas 25 years ago. Was still a Lions fan.

Then we got the Panthers. I have been a fan from day one. Never been a fan of a franchise fresh from inception. That part was so cool.

Still love my Lions, but the Panthers are still number one in my heart.

That said. If the Panthers were to move, then I would go back to my Lions.

what is ridiculous, is people like you who think/feel Richardson doesn't care about winning.
