Would be awesome if a mod could ban this Falcon turd who's been trolling the Panthers section for days..

Come on man! I have put together very useful information and provided stats to back them up. I even gave props to Steve Smith, Beason, and predicted a Carolina win next week.

Just because I dislike Cam Newton does not make me a "turd". It just means I have an opinion, like everyone else.

Was my comment wrong? Did he not fumble on a play where he had the first down? Did the Panthers not punt the ball and then lose the game based off that fumble?

So quick to throw the "ban" word around here. You guys are welcome to come talk some smack anytime over at the Falcons board. Division Rivals are no fun without you know, being rivals and all.

...what is the difference between cam newton, vince young, and michael vick?

i have yet to see what cam newton is doing that is going to revolutionize the game.

now if he ever grasps the mental side of the game like manning, brady, brees, and rogers...couple that with his physical abilities and then i can understand him being once in a lifetime player.

but i don't see him progressing in that direction.

he looks like nothing more than a stat collecting machine.

Yeah your posts in the other thread about our QB all make sense now.

The wildcat is complete horse poo. It's a joke of an offense. fuging horrible to have a QB who could throw for 300 yards in his sleep on any defense and the high octane receivers we do along with $50 MILLION worth of RB and chud continues this QB read option wildcat horse poo

We have a few longtime Falcons posters here who are pretty cool guys. If your intent is to stick around here, you would be best served to leave the poo talking in smack central and talk real football here.

All quarterbacks run these days, some more than others. I think Newton runs excessively. Hell, he runs more than the running backs some games. Two games we failed to score more than 10 points. The team is 1-3. Against the Falcons the Panthers had the ball twice late in the fourth quarter with the lead and couldn't run out the clock or score. Newton lost possession of the ball causing fourth down.

Also earlier in the year he ran for it on 4th and inches against the Saints and failed to pick up the first down. I'd argue this offense in general is a failure. Others will defend it because of statistics. How many of these yards are being picked up in garbage time? The ball wasn't moving against New York or Tampa until the Panthers were down two scores and chasing from behind.

If the team wants to stay in the game they need a more controlled offense. Plays keep breaking down. We need quicker plays based on precise timing and schemes. Otherwise will have breakdowns, sacks, early punts and losses.

When someone says they're a football player it means they put the team first, a W, and anything to achieve that win.

What do you not get??? He's not telegraphing he wants to play wideout, he wants to fuging win. That's not the reason the Panthers are 1-3

Cam not a WR, so he shouldn't be lined up out there. He's not a defensive cornerback, so he shouldn't be out there either

Lets limit this icon bullshit and win some games

I have no interest in comparing Newton to traditional QBs. He doesn't compare. What makes Newton special is his uniqueness.

Cam Newton runs. It is part of what makes him special. Why some are against him being special is nuts.

Big Ben wins with more than just his arm, Steve Young won with more than just his arm....Cam is just a more extreme variation.

You want to win games? Give Newton a defense.....great NFL coaches have repeatedly said defense is how you help a great QB.
