Rivera said Gamble likely out

Thats exactly what i would do. I heard Norman on the radio talking about the difference between college and now. He said something like in college he met the receivers at the los but now he is having to learn to play off the receivers to try to get them to commit to their route in the 5 yards that contact is allowed. Now I'm no where close to being a NFL coach but it seems to me that it would be better to try to direct the receiver where YOU want him to go. What's the difference if you get burnt once or twice or the other team moving down field with 20 five yard completions.

His college reference is also against low 1-AA talent. That style of play just highlights how little faith our staff has in our DB talent.

Norman and Cap will be the starters. Josh Thomas will come in,in the nickel, moving Cap to the slot.

Rivera stated in the interview on panthers.com that Capt will remain in the nickel and Thomas will be outside. He also said that AE will be returning punts.

I'll just say it now. We are fuged.

if they had a better passing offense i might be inclined to agree, but as bad as our secondary is, their passing O is worse.

the fact that our pass rush has showed up finally makes me feel better.
