I'm 100% sure we will beat the Seahawks. Agree?

No game in the NFL is 100 percent.

My concern is we have a long history of allowing substandard QBs to have career days. With Gamble out, Sunday could be a record setting day for Wilson.

Even GB had a hard time scoring on this team, I don't see Seattle as a bunch of pushovers.

However, if the Panthers that played Atlanta show up this week, along with some adjustments on defense, I really like our chances.

Much older franchises? WTF do the 1967 Chicago Bears have to do with today's NFL?

It's the same as it's always been. Take off the homer glasses. People in NC who aren't big NFL fans will laugh & tell you what a joke this franchise is.

let's also assume that you should value the advice of people who "aren't big car fans" or "aren't big fans of having passed the bar" or "aren't big fans of having attended medical school" over those who are in other areas of your life.

why should we care what people with a less credible opinion think? you also can't take the position that the panthers have "always been XYZ" without dealing with the fact that the primary metric for coming to that conclusion is historical comparison to other NFL franchises dumb fug.

how is your brain not being ripped in two by the cognitive dissonance of that argument.

I think it has to start well. I get the impression the psyche of the team is somewhat fragile, and the wheels could come off ("here we go again" mentality) if Lynch runs all over us in their first possession, we fumble in ours, etc. BUT, if we have a good gameplan in and can put some early pressure on their rookie QB it should go our way.

You are the one bringing up how long Carolina has been around.

So Carolina's postseason resume vs older teams like say Atl does say something positive about hat this franchise has done in their existence vs other teams
