Which after 4 games he shown he isn't good at either.

Nor is he that athletically gifted. Low ceiling if he gets it together.

Martin should start for the same reason Godfrey does.....talent. They have it. Both need replaced but downgraded with Nakamura......and they seem to stubborn to admit they screwed up something that should have been fairly easy to do in find someone better

You go back and see Turner ran to the Flat which brought the LB up and putting Godfrey out to help Captain with JJ which is what they were doing.

30 yards back Naka broke the 1st rule of being a FS.

NEVER LET THEM GET BEHIND YOU!!!!

Naka and Norman are a terrible combination, and if we fans know it, then so does the rest of the NFL. This bs is not new.

Everyone's job doesn't have the same emphasis on tackling vs coverage. Yes, everyone has to do both....but the FSs main strength should be coverage. Others are suppose to make up for what he my lack in tackling bc it is emphasizes at their position.

Basically the whole secondaries job is to play coverage and tackle whether you are the FS, SS, or CB. The main difference in FS and SS is you bring the SS up in run defense, if you are in pass defense the secondary plays coverage or in a zone you better make tackles. WR's are going to catch balls so you better be able to bring them down when they do.

fug no!!! It was a 2 wr route and the offense was in Max protect now I know you don't know what you're talking about. Douglas wasn't even running a route he was blocking!!!!

You don't know poo.

Are you blind and stupid? Do you not see Captain and Godfrey running with Jones?

I am actually looking at the film right now here you check it out so you can make sure I am not blind or stupid.

Norman is supposed to release the top of the route to the safety and stay on the underneath(or follow) of the receiver. That's the design scheme. Nakamura is supposed to stay over the top of the receiver on his side, which is what he attempted to do, and failed miserably. Godfrey was responsible for keeping containment on the receiver closest to him, which he did.

The fact is that the coverage failed because Nakamura allowed the receiver to get behind him, and subsequently backpedaled for 20 fuging yards while the ball was in the air. Norman, although he could have stayed a little closer, played his position correctly based on the coverage scheme.

No way Norman was supposed to stay with White he got froze by the stick route White ran on him.

What receiver was close to Godfrey that didn't allow him to roll to that side of the field earlier?

I will agree that Naka should not have let White get behind him I am simply pointing out that the whole secondary was to blame here not just Naka.

I am still not sure why Gamble was not on White or even on that side of the field, that whole defensive scheme was $h!t.
