Guess Panthers aren't only team to suffer opposing fan takeover

A few years back I went to a Bears @ 49ers Thursday Night game... I swear there was more Bears fans there than 49ers fans. The place was packed, I wore my Steve Smith Jersey.... But Cutler throw 4 or 5 picks and the 49ers won. But the Bears fans were out in full force...

So you are that guy that goes to a football game wearing a jersey from neither team.

I've told this story before but in 2005 I had tickets to the Georgia Dome the last game of the season. That was the game Jake Delhomme ripped his pants. The Falcons were out of contention and the Panthers needed a win to make the playoffs. Many Panthers fans showed up, we blew them out of the building. Towards the end of the game all the Panthers fans gathered behind the bench and started cheering. I took a picture but it doesn't do it justice.

It was a bit surprising to hear the Bears fans with such a presence there last night but it makes sense why. Bears have a good fanbase that travels well and Jerry Jones built a must see stadium and it was a perfect time for Bear's fans to make the trip out there. They don't meet up often (only 4th meeting in 14 years), MNF game, and I am fairly certain that was their first trip to the new Cowboy stadium. I know a few Bear's fans that had that game circled and made the trip out there for the game.
