Cam does not play defense which is the real reason we lost and will continue to lose. Cam was pretty much carrying the offense himself and was the main reason we were in the game. Cams own man helped knocked the ball out not that it matters because Cam has to play perfect with this shitty defense, and he wasn't perfect yesterday.

Blame the defense.

Oh look Micheal Turner is back to his normal self. I wonder why?

Blame McDermott

After giving up the huge play, you have to know they will use the flats and sidelines to stop the clock. Giving up those two other plays is just plain dumb.

Blame Rivera

The overwhelmed comatose statue, cant trust Newton, Stewart and Tolbert to get us an inch. What is Hurney giving them so much money for? Nevermind. Pinning them on the one yard line wasn't a sure thing and was about 3 inches away from being a touchback. Twenty yard line would have been a disaster, one yard line gave us a good chance, but not as good as getting an inch with Cam Newton as your QB.

Blame Nakamura

Jesus Christ! Even the sugar coaters blame him. Norman did his part on the the long bomb to White. Hard to tell if Norman was bad yesterday or if Naka just kept screwing up.

Blame Captain

That PI was horrendous as long as you dont let Jones get any YAC, and definitely not to the sideline, and that would have been great.

Dont blame the player who played best on our team. This loss is not on Cam. Without him, we get blown out.

Thats true but we also wouldn't have been in the game without Nakamura's interception in the end zone in the first quarter or the 7 sacks the Defense turned in You win as a team and you lose as a team. Plays made in the first half count the same as those made at the end.

Plays made in the first half count the same as those made at the end.

Defense was bad all game. Mostly the secondary. You could have put Colin Branch or Deke Cooper in over Naka and I think we would have won.

I'm pretty sure we would have been in the game without nakamuras interception, but not without the pressure the dl was bringing all game.

      DS staff told Cam he'd done an amazing job. They heavily respected him, even called him a "frontrunner" to finish the whole thing. He just blinked a little too soon. Golden Tate failed for the opposite reason. He was ready to let Kayla Nicole die (figuratively) rather than give up (yikes 😬) One funny moment that'll likely end up on social media: The interrogators forced everyone to strip down in a really cold environment. Newton, underneath his military clothes, was wearing some wild looking, very colorful boxer briefs 😄 Side Note: Pro surfer Alana Blanchard was apparently wearing a pretty skimpy thong under hers because they had to censor her backside.

      I'm fine with this trade, especially since Williams hasn't played much over the years. That said, I'd prefer if they had traded Ball, who's also injured way too much, and Bridges.

      Everyone Pushing to Draft Yet Another WR Early

      They better score 35pts a game cause our defense gives up 31!  Worst points given up in NFL history.  I don't know how as a GM you can come out of the first round of the NFL draft following the worst defense in NFL history without taking a defensive player.  Day 1 off-season strategy planning meeting - Dan Morgan walks into the room and writes "MOST POINTS GIVEN UP IN NFL HISTORY".  First question to the group - how do we fix this?  If that isn't the start of the meeting we are in very big trouble.  The caveat is always a non-defensive player with "generational talent" or no defensive studs left at 8.  But for me the answer is Tet is not a generational talent and if there is no defensive studs when we get to 8 you trade down a few spots.  Every analyst I have seen ranks Tet below Nabers, Harrison, Thomas, and Bowers last year - you don't draft that at 8 in our situation.  Given our history of scouting WR's if our scouts feel differently than that I ABSOLUTELY know Tet is a bust.
