i didn't realize how bad nakamura's coverage was on that play until watching that gif. good god that ball was a weather balloon, nakamura had all day to get back there and get in position to just knock it down. he was backpedaling for a good three seconds, slow motion.

if we want to consider making a playoff run this year we need to trade for a starting safety. which won't happen (and probably shouldn't.) next year safety has to be the number one priority in free agency or the draft.
