Is LaFell Dat Deal?

top dawg

Recommended Posts

As of late, he is the disappearing man. I am not ready to call him a bust at this point, but I do believe that it is time to recognize, and take to heart, that he is what he is, and will never be what we want him to be. Dude is a WR3 who is most effective in the slot where he can ceate the occasional mismatch. He is certainly not the heir apparent to Smitty. We are basically fuged if Smitty goes down, as always.

I do believe that it is high time for us to get Murphy more involved.

If we didn't have Greg Olsen, we would be royally screwed.

god this forum fuging sucks

week 1: good game

week 2: great game

week 3: shitty game just like everyone else

week 4: blocks a lot oh and btw BENCH HIM FOR SOME GUY THE TALENTLESS RAIDERS DIDN'T WANT WHO HAS LIKE 3 CATCHES THIS YEAR

how knee-jerk can you guys get? was the majority of last season and the first couple weeks this season not enough to make you think lafell can be a solid #2? a moose lite? we have plenty of time to find smitty's replacement if lafell isn't. chill out.

Lafell has had two subpar games, and I bet the Raiders wished they had Murphy now. Competition, and not being scared to shake things up is what separates the poodles from the pitbulls in the NFL. Some of you are just plain stupid. You get your butt hurt when someone questions the obvious.

BTW, to call Murphy "TALENTLESS" says that you are more concerned about being right about LaFell than the success of the team (or Murphy). He was let go because of a numbers game, and the fact that the Raiders saw upside with Streats and Criner that they deemed made Murphy expendable.

Competition is not the enemy here. Complacency is. And, unfortunately, our team has not gelled to the point where complacency should even be in the dictionary.

More worried about Murphy. With the amount of time Cam is taking in the pocket he should be able to take the top off of these defenses more effectively then he has been. Can only hope Gettis can do that but once you hurt your knee you have to work twice as hard as you ever did to get back to where you were and I don't know if he did that.
