Ok I should have explained this a bit further. This thread is a response to all the I hate the coaches threads. The coaches called a great game and put this team in a position to win. Its up to the players to execute and not make mistakes. Rivera and company have been preaching ball security. Cam did not practice that philosophy on that play. He cannot be that careless with the ball. His mistake, led to a panthers loss.

Steve Smith lost the game. He doesn't fumble on the hand-off, Atlanta doesn't get an auto TD (he also sulked afterwards).

Nakamura lost the game. If he wasn't such a baddie, we don't gift Atl 50+ yards at the end of the game (or gift Roddy with 2 touchdowns).

Coaching lost the game. If Rivera new what a play clock was, or trusted the highest paid backfield in the league to get one yard, we could have closed it out.
