Saw what Newton was made of today

Recommended Posts

Hatter has issues with someone like Cam Newton receiving so much glory from Panther fans. He wants Cam to carry the load and feels he owes it to us to. Just don't give him all the credit for it. Keep in mind, Hatter was strongly opposed to us drafting and believing in Cam all the way up to week 2 of last season. Only then did he relent a bit.

Of course. Let me guess...after drafting Newton last year and Newton being Rookie of the Year...he disappears...then this year...(the same QB that he thinks sooo little about) is expected to be perfect and carry the team on his shoulders...while if this was Luck he would be screaming to the high heavens that the defense sucks and that he feels awful that he has to put up with such a pathetic defense.

You can't accuse Hatter of being one of those guys who disappear and only come back to criticize after Cam plays badly.

Hatter has stuck it out through and through... just a mild case of schizophrenia when it comes to Cam.

Cam's not responsible for another player's job though. Had Nakamura's play not happened, we would've most likely won. That play directly influenced the game. The defense should've done their job. Why did we call a QB roll out with our 3 RBs? What happened on Cam's play is a regular football play between two teams. Fumbles happen. Nakamura's play was so far from a regular football play. He just completely blew it.

You won't get an argument out of me about that... Nakamura is garbage that wasn't his only terrible play today.

There were three separate events in a row that could have won us the game.

1.Cam not fumbling.

2.Being a man and going for in with less than a yard to go.

3.Nakamura's god awful attempt at an interception. (I'm going on record that I believe Martin would have picked that)

Your dislike for the coaching staff when the execution is obviously the problem. Thats the avoid part.

The Grammar nazi part is just a lack of debating fundamentals.

And yes i did like you as a poster and may still, depends how fast you are abel to get over the butt hurt and think clearly.

No, the grammar nazi part was just not giving a crap. It was stooping to the level of "FU and the jackass you rode in on."

That's where you lost me on what we were debating. You never quoted me and said, "I disagree, because..."

A fundamental element of debating is presenting an argument. You didn't.

Now I know what your issue was.

And we'll have to agree to disagree, because I think our coaching staff is a joke as of right now. Chud is the only coach worth debate, but he's f'ed up his fair share as well this year.

You believe all of today's failures is chalked up to lack of execution on the players' part, whereas I see there were several lapses in execution but coaching put us in a position to punt twice with the lead in the final minutes. Not to mention running the clock down to end the first half when we could've won with a FG there.

With 3.5 sacks today I think CJ can be allowed one bad play considering he single handily ended 2 others.

With 60%+ completion, 3 tds, and 300+ yards of offense....Cam Newton can be allowed one bad play considering he [nearly] single handily put 28 points on the board...

Yet somehow you do not hold Cam to the same standards...

lol i think you are reading ryans numbers. Cam had 200+ 2tds no ints and one recovered fumble. Your point is still the same though. The fumble didn't even go to the falcons and we still lost the fug is that? I can't explain my hate for this defense.

Matt Ryan can fug up with an Int and still win. smh

Are you serious. Like Olsen hasnt been the only one really showing up the past two games. D-Will had a good game maybe not over 100 yds rushing but he played decent enough to say he did his job. Stew just came back from injury so I didnt expect him to do much anyways. Murphy he is situational and Lafell I dont know where he was.

We needs consistency!!!

We needs these players to step up and convert on 3rd downs so Cam won't have to always be the one with the ball on 3rd down trying to make a play and win.

Enough said!

Check my some of my other posts dipshit I've said like five times now I am mad the coaching staff didn't give him the opportunity to end the game of 4th down... I believe he would have redeemed himself and gotten the first down.

Also Qb's are held accountable for more than other positions and had Cam not fumbled the game would have been over, the play was one of two that lost us the game.
