My biggest concern with the entire game is the defensive playcalling.

Blitzed them their entire first possession. Shut them down completely. So, as a result of that success, we stop blitzing most of the rest of the game. I just don't get it.

And Chud, please, please, please stop being cute with the playcalling. Smith is not a RB. Let him play WR. Let the millions of dollars wrapped up into the backfield handle that.

how is this not the coaching fault? from the first roddy TD you could tell nakumura was garbage,how are you a nfl saftey gettin paid millions and your only job is to not let defenders behind you but consistently roddy was behind nakumra. whiff on two plays and lets thank the football gods julio stepped out of bounds on that one play,face it 43 is constantly on the ground, your a fuggin nfl safety the last resort defensively and your constantly on the ground out of position or whiffing. and he hasn't done this just today it's been the whole season

on the first TD Nak actually slowed way down to turn around and find the ball when he was step for step with his man and then got beat by 7 feet. what a clown, he had an INT and was thinking I am bout to find this ball and get another........wtf

I still think it is silly people are complaining about the play call of Smith running a WR reverse.....even conservative Fox used those with Smith.

Good play call...bad job by Smitty. His play has been questionable for 2 straight weeks.

I don't blame the coaches for that play. You call the right coverage and expect these professionals to make the okay. They dud't.

That being said, I am not a fan if McDermott. Dud not like the hire when we made it and still don't. He is over rated.

Martin gets routinely burned trying to make the big play and getting jukes out of his shoes. If he is in a position where all he has to do is float over the top of the receiver being covered in man to man I think he'd be better at the jump ball than Nak. Nak couldn't time a jump to save his life today and got eaten up twice because of it. So yes, Martin isn't very good either. But in that particular situation (99 yards, 59 seconds, no timeouts), I think he would have been the lesser of two evils.

I like using these kind of plays as a change if pace. Chud runs too many gimmicks and college read option plays as our base offense. Teams have figured out how to play it...much like they did with the wildcat.

Run a traditional offense and sprinkle in some wrinkles. Don't relegate this offense to one that depends on gimmicks.
