First of all :lol: at you for thinking it wouldn't be an absolute certainty that Foxy would have punted that ball. Secondly, Foxy would have tried to close it out the same way, by running the football. How hard is it for you to admit that if Cam secures the football it's a first down and the game is over? I'm a huge fan of Cam and love that we have him, but on that play you have to hold onto the ball. If that happens then we aren't even having this discussion....

If the playoffs are on the line and you know that at least half of the field and probably more can't be covered due to inept (dbs/scheme/playcalling/whatever) and you have 1 yard to go to either win or lose you punt it? I can see the logic of punting but I think the situation warranted going for it. Then again I don't have millions on the line for how well the team does over the season.
