Surprised the Clock Stopped

I am really surprised the clock stopped on the last sack of Ryan before they punted. It would have killed another 30 secs off the clock. Hopefully it doesn't hurt us

Well it did.

If anyone has an explanation of this play (if they remember it) then let me know. I must have been looking at it wrong but don't see why it should have stopped.

Yeah but out of bounds doesn't necessarily mean the clock stops.

If he was going backwards out of bounds after the forward progress had been stopped then it continues to run. Maybe I am misinterpreting/misremembering how the play panned out.
