Ryne was close on a few, and last season Mark Jones set a record for being tackled by the last guy.

Rhyne close? Are you kidding me? He had a grand total of 2-3 returns late in the season that weren't embarassing...that doesn't = close to returning one.

Now Jones, had a realistic shot of taking about 3-4 to the house....he simply didn't have the last gear needed and had trouble juking the kicker.

the more and more I think about it Robinson is going to struggle finding a roster spot.

Speical teams are very important.Never mind td's what about Field position?

So scoring TD'S on special teams makes you losers?

if you have a lot of opportunities for kick off return TDs then that might mean that you are losers.

field position is key, i agree, but not scoring a return TD isn't anymore an indicator of being a successful team anymore than being able to score several. we led the league in rushing TDs. i'm much more impressed with something like that than if we just led the league in return TDs. i just don't think it's a big deal that we haven't but i do think we are in a better position to now than in previous years. it just won't kill us if we don't.

the Raiders, Saints, etc. simply have explosive return men on their teams.....I don't think it is about more chances or they have better units. Explosive players will eventually make you a play or two. Miller and Bush are two of the more explosive return men in the league. Miller has always been near the top in scores since he arrived in the league.

I would rather have the good - great field position and allow the offense to run the clock down and give the defense a rest at the same time.

What I would like to see is a team that stares into their opponents eyes, points at them and says "it's coming your way, are you ready", then rams it down their frigging throats. Shuts them down totally and fvcks their cheerleaders on the way out of the stadium. That first drive in the playoffs was music. Why did we stop? That's Fox football, why did we stop? Give me DeAngelo and Stewart, I'm a happy guy, (throw in a little Smitty too, thank you)...
