Some serious poo went down live on TV

Me and my buddies always watched faces of death in our tents before we left the wire in Afghanistan to pump us up. Sick yes. Prepared us, definitely. Of all the gruesome memories, the worst vision in my mind is not of death but of a 5 year old boy walking down an afghan road naked and blood dripping down his buttocks and legs.

I think it's healhy for adults to see these type of videos. They bring people more in touch with reality. Ignoring problems won't make them go away. What can be learned from this? Well, the video displays how desperate some criminals are and how many have no intention of going (or going back) to jail.

Often police issue warnings to contact them and not to confront suspects. This is a fine example why. Many are armed and reckless.

I watched a bunch of giants buttrape some panthers a couple weeks ago. It was horrible.

I don't want to see people brutally torturing or killing people or animals, and don't understand why anyone would. If you see something by accident, that's not your fault. But if you look for it and watch it, you have a problem.

Yeah, I'm with biscuit on that stuff... I read the description about 3guys1hammer on wiki, and I had a hard time sleeping just from what I read. It really bothered me. I don't need to see it, I almost wanted to throw up just reading about it. It really is scary how little life is valued by society in general nowadays and the thing that bothers me about such things being widely available to the public is it desensitizes people and devalues life that much more...

The worst thing I've ever seen on the internet was by accident and it didn't even involve violence, at least not any enacted towards anyone else, and I was surprised no one mentioned it in the thread already... One of my friends on facebook posted one of those vague captions with the video and it caught my eye. The preview thumbnail didn't give anything away, it just had a like a warning sign, so I was like, "weird, what is this about?" The link was legit, not that spambot stuff, so I clicked on it...

As the old saying goes, you can't unsee what has already been seen. I wish I would've known what the video was about beforehand and I wouldn't have watched.

It was a warning that said something about not drinking and acting irresponsibly. It showed some kids jumping off a cliff into the ocean in Lebanon. They made several successful jumps as people looked on. The cliff was around 40 feet. What started bothering me while watching it was that they really had to jump outward because there was a little concrete platform thing below them in the water right below the cliff.

Well, sure enough, they kept jumping and one of the guys goes again... He slipped as he jumped off to dive and what do you know, he hit the concrete platform face-first. Apparently it had metal exposed on the outer edges, like rebar I guess, and that's what he landed on. His body falls into the water completely limp, floating, and the water around him turns completely red and spreads within seconds. People were screaming, everything...

I thought he either died or it was fake and that was that. The video faded out and then shows a man laying in an ER. It's the guy. His face was completely split into two, straight down the middle. His face was wide open, split in half. His tongue and eyes on each side were still moving and a doctor even pushed each side of his face in and it flopped back down when he let it go. You could see the guy was horrified but couldn't speak. But, his face moved with each breath. I didn't think someone could even survive with such an injury... It disturbed me and I kept thinking about it for days, wishing I had never even came across it. It made me hate the internet.

The guy apparently died two hours later. That was just a video of an accident, but to think a life could be wasted so carelessly and end so tragically and in such a gory manner... It was just bothersome. So, after that, I retired any curiosity I had whatsoever of viewing internet "shock" videos.

The video in the OP is nothing in terms of the visuals, but is disturbing just in the fact that it's another life lost. And for what? Why?
