Proof that Water Once Flowed on Mars

Nasa's hypothesised history of water on Mars (in billions of years).

There are two billion years of significant water on the surface of Mars if NASAs hypothesis is correct. Temperatures vary widely today, but it seems like there would be a good chance that some sort of life would have developed on the planet in that time, at least at the microbial level

Looks like a solid find. They need to just keep moving though. If there was ever water there, there will be large dips that span a larger area, like a lake or even an ocean. Drillng would help. If there is still water, that's the way to find it. I don't think you'll ever see them find life. By now, it would have been found. However, there have been various claims that there are complex carbon-based molecules that have been found on pieces of Mars rock that have fallen to Earth (such as the one in Antarctica). So, if that is true, and if water IS found, life on Mars may have been at one time, and we just need to dig. I don't think Curiosity has the equipment for it though. It would almost REQUIRE a human team to go out there and do it. Dammit, why does this space poo have to be so hard?
