Who would have thought they would have actually have a pitching staff in the month of may they are 3.13 ERA best in the Majors....Won 7 in a row with a sweep of the Angels, and are tied with the 3rd best record in the Majors

Can they keep this up throughout the summer, or will the Texas heat destroy the hopes of making a playoff run yet again this year?

I know it is a long season, but this has been the best they have looked in a very very long time

They won't keep it up. I will give them credit, they are rolling. But they ARE a hitting team. When a team is on a roll, everything works. Pitching, fielding hitting etc.. and they find a way to win. When they start dropping games (and they will), the pitching will fall down to earth. On the other hand, they are doing better than me or pretty much anyone expected.

They've always had good hitters (remembers Palmeiro and Juan Gonzo back in the day) but never pitching. I think they'll come back to earth but maybe still be decent.
