Sometimes I hate the NFL

Saints will be 0-4 come Sunday. Bet on it!

Your record for the Saints broughts up a thought provoking point...What we've been seeing with the Saints makes me want to ask...is it the QB or the coaching that makes a team a winning team? Is it Cam who is messing up or Rivera not coaching well? Was it Jimmy who wasn't performing well or Fox's style of play just didn't fit this team?

Let's look at the 49ers. Their QB was one bad game from being traded. The team gets a new coach and the team is in almost every SB conversation for the past two seasons.

In reality, when it's all said and done, what makes a team go from mediocre to great might just be in the form of the person who coaches that team and the mentality he brings to the team. The Saints seem to be proving that because Drew Brees is a seasoned Vet.

Also to add to this. When Tom Brady went down with his injury, Matt Cassel took the Patriots to an 11-5 record. They missed the playoffs but still 11-5 with no Tom Brady was impressive.

Now Matt Cassel looks fairly pedestrian with his new team the Chiefs.

I think coaching may be underrated in the NFL, I have heard a lot of people on TV down play their significance.

Not one person on this board is smart enough to properly answer this. My opinion is that Leadership is irreplaceable. There are Natural born Leaders, and then there are people who learn how to lead... You can't replace a natural born leader with someone that's taught to lead.

As for this Panthers Team, it's too early to tell. Cam seems to be a Natural born Leader though. And those are hard to come by. Fug all the outside noise about his attitude, it's exactly that... Noise

Footballaliassport has brought up a great topic... But sadly I don't think that there's a clear answer one way or another

I agree. I've been saying it for quite sometimes now. There are those in our sports media who feel it's their job to dictate how we're to not only feel about the teams but individual players. I believe the media knows Cam is a natural leader and a very talented young man but their ego driven mindset simply won't let others see that because they are still seem butt hurt over him taking Auburn to their Championship.

sounds expensive. what the fug kind of job did you have? Any long term effects (of the cocaine)?

I'll only ever be into pot.. but I get curious about that poo and how it affects people.

I don't advocate drug use, but from what they tell me, cocaine is wonderful and goes magnificently with a Vegas evening of Crown & Coke.
