Walking dead season 3

I hate Michonne.

I love Tyrese.

Shane nearly made me poo my pants.

That was one hell of a cliff hanger.

WTF Rick and a 17 year old?

A few comments on all of your points.

Michonne is SLOWLY getting better. She's breaking the hardass act. When Rick had her at gunpoint and she was saying they need her, what she was REALLY saying is that she needs them. The look in her eyes when Rick first saw her there, you could tell she was glad to see them. I think she will eventually become distant again, but that is her thing. She's definitely becoming a bit more versatile in her emotions though.

Tyreese is amazing. When I saw the hammer, I screamed like a school girl. So excited about him being on the show. And I think, based on what Carl says to Rick in the preview for the second half of the season, that we're going to see something happen between Rick and Tyreese in the comics, and if so, it will be epic.

Shane's return was great. I read an interview with Andrew Lincoln where he said that during that day of shooting, he saw Bernthal just hanging out, watching filming and being out of the way. He couldn't resist it anymore and told him to come over to him and help him with lines. Great bro moment there, I'm sure. It was good seeing Shane back. He'd be SO perfect for this situation. This new Rick and Shane would get along JUST fine.

Great cliffhanger. A lot of possibilities for where they go from here. I'm way too excited about February 10th now.

Rick and a 17 year old? You mean Axel? Or Carl, since he was obviously pissed at the way Axel was talking to Beth?

Also, short hair =/= lesbian. Life lessons brought to you by The Walking Dead.

I have a question that's been bugging me.

So, they all carry the "zombie virus", right? Meaning that everyone will turn when they die no matter what. Why does getting bitten kick the change in faster? When someone gets bit, they turn whether its a fatal bite or not. What's the dealio.

They've never explained that that I know of... it's just one of those plot things you just have to roll with...

Kind of like, wouldn't Michonne and the Gov die from having their various cuts/eye stabbings washed in the zombie fluid from those fish tanks???

Curious as to what you mean by this... PM me if you don't want to post spoiler here...

Overall I was seriously impressed, as I have been for the entirety of this season. Season 3 has definitely lived up to what they did in season 1.

I know everyone is freaking out about Daryl, but I have gut feeling he'll be ok.

Also Carl is freaking awesome... uber kid badass now. So good to see a character just do stuff and not have all this interpersonal conflict about every decision. Also one of the reasons I like Daryl. No bullshit.

I'll post the spoiler. COMIC/SHOW SPOILERS AHEAD! Don't click the spoiler tag if you don't want to know....

Not going to spoil EVERY plot point, but some poo goes down in the prison between Rick and Tyreese and it involves Carol and Michonne. Basically, Rick snaps one night after he finds Tyreese in bed with Michonne after the suicide of his daughter and her boyfriend. Rick and Tyreese fight pretty brutally, and Tyreese ends up knocking RIck out cold. Rick wakes up a couple days later and a few of the men in the camp have decided that Rick shouldn't be the leader anymore, so they form a "senate" to make decisions, and agree that Rick should be a part of that. I think this will happen based on two things in the preview for the next half-season. 1) Rick walking away from Herschel all pissed off and Herschel yelling at him to get back here. 2) Carl telling Rick "you should stop being the leader".

It doesn't, when Shane was killed he turned within a minute or two. He wasn't bitten and neither was the old man in Woodbury that they were trying the experiment on.

As far as the bite it causes a bad fever and when unchecked kills you really quickly. That is why they chopped off Hershel's leg the moment he was bitten.

Rick seein Shane just makes me think he is going to be waay off in the 2nd half....

It has been a while since I saw TV that good. When Andrea & Michonne faced off it made me get up out of my seat. Fuggin great the Guvnah callin Merle out like that, Stumpy shoulda known he was gonna get caught in that lie. Im guessin Anrdea will step up and have something to do with saving Daryl, cant see them killin him off...

I like what I saw of Tyrese, Carl will respect that man for showin him respect. Perhaps Carl takes Tyrese's side against his father? Just speculating...

Real good mid-finale, really excited about February....
