Walking dead season 3

Jesus... That episode was rough.

When Rick realized that Lori was dead and that Carl was the one that had to put her down, I about lost it. Brilliant acting by Andrew Lincoln and the kid that plays Carl.

Lori was not my favorite character because she seemed to be a bundle of drama, but her last scene with Carl was fantastic. She saved her best scene for last and it was intensely emotional. Carl is quickly becoming an incredible character as well.

T-Dogg may not have had an expanded role, but he went out a hero. Would have been interested in the T-Dogg and Merle reunion, but I guess it wasn't where they wanted to go.

This show is fantastic. Plain and simple. I can't remember the last time I got so attached to characters, and been so terrified for their safety. No one is safe, that's definitely true.

Best episode of the show so far. Been waiting for Lori to die. Can't stand her. And the baby is Shane's so if I'm Rick I don't want anything to do with it. Carl is badass. Can't stand Andrea. She is so easily duped. I feel like she would fall for one of those Nigerian email scams. Michonne needs to drop her ass. Where did Carol go? Sorry for the fragmented sentences. Lol

Alright, I have a theory, and I'm going to put it in spoiler tags. This isn't anything more than me speculating what is gonna happen from here until mid-season finale. Also, there are some comic spoilers in this towards the end, so be warned those who are not through that story arc in the comics.

T-dog is dead. This is VERY important, I think. There is a reason they HAD to kill him now. Merle isn't far from finding the prison and his brother. Having Rick there is going to be enough to keep Merle nice and pissed, but he may be able to live with it, due to Daryl. Having T-Dog there would escalate what they want the Merle return story arc to be way to quickly. I'm thinking Merle and Andrea find the prison by the mid-season finale (probably in the next 2 weeks, honestly). It's a strange reunion, with a mixture of relief on both sides, as well as hostility and confusion over what happened at the farm. Once the dust settles, Andrea and Merle are welcomed into the group. Daryl and Merle have a nice talk over everything, and Merle notices the difference in Daryl. Merle and/or Andrea mention Woodbury and Michonne (who "stayed" behind...), and suggest taking them back to Woodbury. Rick and the group reluctantly agree.

Then, once they get to Woodbury, things escalate quickly. Rick and the gang are high strung and used to being independent. To have The Governor in control of them has them on edge. Andrea realizes Michonne is nowhere to be found, and confronts the Governor. Eventually, 2 and 2 are put together by Andrea. She realizes what is going on. Merle suggests to Daryl that he should break off his allegiance to Rick and join up with the Governor and his men. Daryl says hell no that, and this just adds to a number of little conversations and disagreements between these two. Rick and the rest end up being held hostage by the Governor, who deems them as a threat. I think at this point, the walker gladiator pit where the fights take place are introduced. This is where the events in the comic happen, more or less. They escape Woodbury and head for the prison without Merle, who Rick just doesn't care about and Daryl is iffy about, still missing a couple members of the group (COMIC SPOILERS AHEAD........FEEL FREE TO SKIP TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH.....SERIOUSLY....FINE, HERE IT IS...I think Michonne and Glenn are the ones left, just like the comics).

Once back at the prison, they realize they need to regroup and figure out what the hell to do next. Once the Governor finds out what happened, he goes to Merle. Merle leads the Governor to the prison with some men, and Merle is used to get in. He tries to earn the trust of everybody, but Daryl is still not very trusting of his brother (he sees through his facade and knows the kind of man he is). This is the mid-season finale. After some events, Merle knocks Rick out and heads back to Woodbury. Daryl finds Rick and sets out to find Merle. He ends up putting a bolt in his head.

Watched it yesterday. Still in shock with the accelerated pace of thinning the herd. Who would have thought the baby was coming and that it would happen like that?? It was hard to watch Rick's reaction - very good acting. And I bet for Lori, her emotion at the end was real as she knew it was the end of her time on the show, with the cast she's grown very close to. She could have definitely channeled those emotions into her final scene.

I honestly didn't think Maggie would do what she did though. And we don't know about Carol, right? So there is some mystery there.

RIP T-Dogg.

    • His o loaded with swift, dj, Keenan and Rome was inconsistent at best. The d was bad. And the game management was atrocious and lost them games.  He was terrible and made the team worse. I wish they kept him
    • That is my point.  I think teams make a huge mistake when they pay their decent to average QBs top QB money because they feel that they have to match the market or lose their investment--There is no way, for example, that Tua or Prescott or Murray should all be making more than Mahomes--I mean, Dak makes $15m per season more than Mahomes. People say, "Well, when its his turn...." But that is not how it should be--so my point was that Bryce can be doing mediocre to good enough in 2 years, but the way it is going, you have to pay him at the starting QB rate--currently $60m.  So even if you think he will continue to improve, at $60 m, he would eliminate any chance for a ring---so my view is, if he is not elite, you cut him.  So you draft QBs now and see what you can make of them.
    • With two 4ths and three 5ths I’m hoping we can kill it on adding depth. Take a gamble with the two 7ths.  First 3 picks id love to address the defense. I expect Tuttle, Robinson, and Jewell to all be on the 2025 roster but not after that. Be a good time to add depth and let them develop a year.
