actually makes you wonder how much wildlife is still out there to hunt. huge swarms of walkers would wipe out the deer and larger game and any predators would be in for a shock if they tried to eat a walker........... could we see a zombie bear attack at some point?

confirmed spoiler:

Martinez from the comics will play a "big" role this season. Scott Wilson (Hershel) confirmed this in an interview. The actor playing Martinez is Jose Pablo Cantillo (SofA). Martinez was the Governor's right hand man in the comics i believe.

Wtf was the deal with all those heads in the tanks of water??

Not sure. At first I thought they were the heads of walkers, but the one on top was the helicopter pilot.

I'm assuming the Governor is killing off other groups that may challenge his authority (i.e the national guard/military) so he can rule the land once the walkers are killed?

While I like that we got to catch up with Andrea/Michonne and see what became of Merle, I would have liked to have seen something about the group in the prison.

It was an interesting episode, but next week looks better.

Sort of what I'm thinking. It's just odd to have a room dedicated to his kills. I guess it's sort of a mentality thing for him to have those. Sort of like having deer heads/antlers if you're a hunter.

Next week does look better. Andrea and Michonne, while able to add a different sort of element as characters, are terrible in terms of a whole show. Not enough depth to their characters alone. Wish they had shown even just a few minutes of Rick and the prison to set up next week a little. But, I guess being in the dark sort of helps.

Looks like poo at the prison is about to go down. Also, looks like we'll be getting closer to the Governor finding the prison. Though, I think I remember Andrea, in that preview of next, say she's going to lead them back to the farm. If that's the case, god help us all, because I don't want to spend even 10 minutes of an episode back in that hell hole.

Damn, dodged Rick and co all episode. Am I the only one that doesn't care for the women portraying Michonne? All episode she just scowled at everyone. If I was the Gov I'd slapped that look off her face. Feed her eggs and tea, clean clothes, soft bed, and a shower, to only give me a nasty pissed off stare all the time. Uhm, hell naw.

Well, not to point out the obvious, but since she's not involved with any "group", there isn't a split-group dynamic like there would be if this was Rick's groups situation. So, Andrea is the happy, "yay we found a group to be a part of where we are safe" while Michonne is the one who is suspicious and uncomfortable with the situation.

The group I watched with tonight were all sorts of split on their opinions of the Governor. None have read the comics (including myself). Half were saying he's truly good, he's just a version of Rick if Rick had an entire town to run and 74 people to keep safe. The other half were saying that he's plotting and is only out for his own personal gain. Of course, I'm in the "this guy is dangerous and only wants to rule everything" camp, because it seems OH so obvious to me.
