what's with the hate towards munnerlyn? what makes you think that he wouldn't be a good CB? was it the lack of stats? people didn't get thrown to on his side. is it his size? good players are able to compensate for whatever perceived weaknesses they have.

We got rid of RIcky manning JR., because he is nothing more than a glorified Nickel back that wanted to be paid like you starting corner. He did rip it up in the playoffs though.

This kid had all of 5 interceptions in his career...FIVE!! He is shorter than Steve Smith and he's going to be covering the WRs in this league? Your Marques Colstons and your Antonio Bryants of the NFC South? Heck as a nickel, your Michael Claytons and Robert Meachems? He ran a 4.5....there is nothing about any of this that even suggests playmaking ability. Lots of people forget D.J Clark who is a MUCH BETTER corner than Captain, but it's Captain's name that has made him such a fan favorite.

And it wasn't about throwing it to his side either, he simply wasn't a ball hawk. He tackled and blitzed

i got faith in him but he want do anything at CB cuz we got gamble at 1. marshall at 2.

martin at 3. and wilson at 4. so captian won't do anything at CB for at least 2 yrs.

all reports coming out about him from people who actually watched games and real game tape say that he wasn't thrown to on his side. not much he can do if the ball isn't thrown there. why would the ball not be thrown on his side?
