Anyone hoping that Lee makes the team???

i don't like what we would have to give up on the roster to keep him on it because i would rather keep goodson on the roster and have more hope that he works out because of where we took him.

he runs really high and prefers to jump over people. that may help him be successful in canada but in the NFL it could get him killed. skipper could work with him, though.

a lot of the reason that he looked so good is that he was playing in canada. i have said it before and i'll say it again, those people he was playing against looked like high school players. the field is also a whole lot larger there than in the US. he has a lot more room and he admitted that the field being so wide was a lot of the reason for his success.

i do hope that he's a stud in the making but i hope that with all of our players, drafted or undrafted. i don't expect that, though.

where would we put him on the 53 man roster and what part of the team would we sacrifice to make room for him? we can't really afford to give up depth anywhere.

Too early to know who is going to be the real deal and who won't. There are always 1 or 2 guys who surprise and a few that disappoint. I want the best players on the field and I don't care whether we drafted them or not or how much they make.

2 of the only RB's that come to mind when I think of the "Straight Up" running style are;

W. Payton

&

A. Peterson.

Now I am not sayin this kid will be as good as them, but they are the only backs I know who made it big and run like that.

ohhh.. also the Redskins white RB in the 80's, his name is slipping my mind....

You can't hit what you can't catch. I like speed and he has it. Unfortunately, or fortunately, he has a lot to overcome to gain a roster spot...

I agree with the gotta catch it before you can hit it, and with his field vision, he is way ahead of the game.

With that being said, in respect to having a lot to overcome, if he pans out to be the real deal, he has the ability to contribute in a couple of areas in a big way, which is a HUGE bonus for him.

There is no doubt that there are several positions that he could compete for, but all of them also have their incumbents that are loved by the fans. It's still an uphill battle no matter the position, but you can't teach speed...
