It's just another useless ranking.

Truthfully though, D. Will is going to have to show that he can be that guy for another whole season. Perhaps his overall production may drop as a result of Stewart, but his value and importance to the team will hopefully increase with another solid year of performance. Moreover, I think that his perceived value also suffers a bit because he does not catch on a regular basis out of the backfield like Westbrook, LT or S-Jax (talking about durability issues). Ultimately I'm not worred, Williams will get his and somebody else's.

....and this is the problem i have with certain fans. they let highlight material distort what really happened.

i remember the direct snaps to williams...there were 11 of them.

11 out of 62 plays. a far cry from half the snaps.

i also remember foster doing what he always did against atlanta. running them over.

i remember for the first time all season thinking that this is how carolina should be playing. the o-line manhandling the defense, and both RBs making plays.

i also remember the defense keeping a choke hold on atlanta's offense. holding them to a mere 3 points.

i remember it being a team win. the only person who needed to be carried that day was weinke.

Since you seem to have all the numbers at your disposal, how about looking up the TOP numbers, and how many third downs Williams either picked up himself or had a hand in because everybody on that Atlanta defense was keying on him. They are all team wins, but if you can't see the huge role that Williams played in that game, then you don't understand football as much as you think you do.
