Holmes situation was not over blown. Reports came out stating the locker room had issues. Seen Holmes' scene during games. Think he was bench at one time and whyd you think B.Schottenheimer was replaced?

Hmmmm...I just watched your receiver wrestled an opponent even after the whistle blew on Thursday. He then got into the face of a player, hitting his head like some mad man for no reason, which cost your team some yardage.

It seems the only reason Smitty gets away with his antics, it's not the first time I've seen him get out of hand, is because he's been on this team the longest. Does he even listen to the coaches? It doesn't seem like it. Putting all jokes aside. I was going to come on this site and ask that question before the incident in the locker on Thursday.

Everytime I catch a Panthers game, Smitty sometimes act like a man who forgets to take his meds..

Here is any FYI, no team has succeed with an out of control receiver. You can laugh and mock Cam all you want but, he's not your team's issue.

I mean I dont need Rivera chasing after a Ref or getting in another coach's face like Schawrtz. I just need him to show he cares about winning or losing a game. To show that he can be a teacher on the field instead of just looking clueless. I have never once seen Rivera go up to a player, especially Cam to talk about whats working and what's not.

Also quit making excuses like we're a young team. We have three rookies starting. I mean you chooses who you want on the field. You wanted three rooks, man up and say its your fault.

Foxy shown that he could lead his team back from a game and win. He shown that he can lead a group his 53 grown men. Rivera shown nothing.

Agreed. I wish we could get a new head coach. RR looks way over his head.

Who gives a damn about how my receiver acts on the field. Sure he has a bad rep but I dont give a fu(k. He goes out there and plays 150%. Is 89 the reason why Cam always sit on the bench with a towel over his head? Is 89 the reason why Cam goes into a Press Conference with crazy eyes? I dont think so. Cam is a grown man, and he has matured very very well. All he want is for Cam to be a leader on and off the field. This is the first time Smitty spoke of Cam and everyone's is going crazy, "oh this is 89, the same man who sucker punched Lucas". Kalil spoke of Cam's last year and no one said anything bc it was Kalil and not 89.

Im trying hard to see if I could ever remember anytime when 89 ever called Jake out and I cant. Other than showing his emotions on the field. WHy? bc Jake was a leader on and off the field. Looked through plays every time he was on the sideline. Cam? Havent seen once he went over and talk to a coach about something or trying looking over a play.

The only thing I don't get, is the organization's official twitter saying Newton seeked out a mind coach on his own.... and cam denying it.

It doesn't add up

Oh it adds up, it adds up to communication failure and distrust. This could be worse for our season than the on field play.

The Panthers twitter operators must've got what he said wrong, when he said it. Person was at the same conference and he said Rivera said "It's great IF he was working with one."

I dont know. I dont feel like the reports from mainstream media (Mort, etc.) were fabricated. I'm sorry but I think we are lying to ourselves if you want to tell yourself that. I think that Cam probably did seek one out or the organization did ask him to do that; but I feel like he's denying it because he doesn't need to make it public, and he doesn't want it to be part of his image or something like that.

I'm a strong believe that folks who don't want to admit when something is wrong with their team as a whole, are always looking for quick fixes and when they don't get them, they are ready to abandon everything like a Player abandoning his many women.

There is no loyality with many of you. You seem more inlove with your ideals about this team than the reality. You seriously believe that your team is just one good coach or QB away from a SB. Yet you sit there and not only applaud the bad behavior of a receiver who has a track record of chewing out his QBs as if their is personal assistance, but you feed every silly gossip you hear about your QB instead of show some maturity and ignore them. Such a major distraction.

Real team fight through adversity, not always look for quick fixes. Real fans stand by their team and believe in their players even when they don't win every game. They get dejected when their team loses and elated when they win but they are not so darn HOT and COLD as some of you folks on here. They demand the coaches fix what needs to be fixed on the team as a whole, not just put all of the teams issues on one player's shoulder. While, being quick to ignore the pink elephant on the team.

What Smitty did to Cam shouldn't have even gone on this long. It happened last week Thursday, and there is still endless threads about it. You folks should be nipping this sort of drama in the butt from Friday because your team simply don't need it. It's extremely counterproductive and the longer your coach has to spend time answering questions about it in the media, the longer it wil take for this team to get back on course. You know the media.

Bottomline is, Smitty was wrong..point blank. Anyone who sit and relish what he did to Cam is simply showing how extremely immature you are. He's both the Vet and Captain of this team and Cam is the rookie with way to much responsibility on his shoulders and he plays that way. It's Smitty's responsibility to lead by example and prepare Cam to take over his spot as leader when he retires. Losing his temper because Cam didn't stand up and rah rah his team when he didn't do it to anyone else on the team is wrong. That is suppose to be the job of the three Captains on this team. It does seem as if as if Smitty must be spendind way to much time reading this site and does believe Cam should be doing it all for the team and his career.

Okay tell me...why would Cam be seeking out mental help because Smitty scream at him? Or is it because you believe the team is putting way to much on his shoulders and he can't take it? And so what if he did...Many athletes have therapist. What's the big deal? Oh yes, this is Cam and anything he does puts him closer to the media created image of VY and many of you seem very quick to believe it.

Man, I do think some of you may need to see a shrink yourself. There are why to many masters trying to tell this kid what to do with his life when there is no need too.

Footballisasport, answer me one quick question. Do you honestly think that the people's opinions on this site have any real bearing on Cam, Smith, the media, or anything Panther related? Do you think that any number of the asshats that think that because Cam might get a "mind coach" this means he is mentally unstable, have any real affect on Cam or this team?
