Football Withdrawls

All I can say is that I have learned to go for the gusto and buy the hoodie the next day. There is always another hoodie sale but the romantic interludes not so much.

Perhaps so. Now that we're getting married, I'm sure the romantic interludes will start to decrease in frequency.

But it's worth noting that the sale was no longer available in the morning. I don't think they (Fox Sports, if I remember correctly) intended to drop the prices that significantly. It lasted but a few hours.

Beaux Berry,

You bought her earrings she wanted and did plenty of other nice things for her. She should be able to give you 5 minutes to buy something you want without getting mad.

That's the way we guys see it.

The way she sees it is she slipped into some very revealing lingerie in hopes of finding me in bed with a grin on my face, but instead found me in another room, buying a Panthers jersey (albeit with a grin on my face).

I can see why that would bother her, but as I said, I don't regret it. That sale only lasted a few hours. :D

Mid May....one of the most boring periods of the off-season....what are you doing to pass the time?

Going to Boston to see the Blue Jays series! Leave tomorrow night....should be awesome!!! Bought my tickets before the season started and couldn't of asked for a better situation....the 1st place Jays take on the 2nd place BoSox...

Other than that, hiking.

I have written or edited more than eighteen books, and I find that I work best by not trying to do rewrites on the first draft until it's finished. Just get it down on paper on that first draft, while your creative juices are at their peak and the story is flowing from you easily. THEN you go back and start polishing the work, fixing goofs and seeing what works and what doesn't. As to getting past those first thirty pages, try to look at it like this: if you write just one page a day, at the end of a year you'll have a manuscript of 365 pages (roughly 92,000 words). And I gotta say, if you can't write a page a day, maybe you should look for some other creative outlet. Good luck!
