It would be smart to trade Beason next year like the Texans did with Ryans, but doubt we will/can do that...

Biggest difference is we made Beason the highest paid MLB right before his injury.....Ryans didn't have that contract coupled with the injury

This is the only realistic one I can think of.

If CJ isn't going to earn every penny of that 70 million, then we need to dump that contract off on someone else and see if we can get a good DB or DE.

Dude! I totally must have imagined the Seahawks going to the playoffs at 7-9 that one year. Or the Cardinals going to the superbowl at 8-8, or the Giants winning it all last season at 9-7.

Realistically we can trade him for draft picks, then use the money to pick up both a DE, and CB in free agency. The go DT or OT in the draft.

CJ is solid and all, but this season do you really think he has been our most effective pass rusher?

This might make more sense when come week 6 he still only has 1 sack.
